Introduction
The Institute of Humanities contributes to the understanding and development of human culture and Korean culture through humanities research. We also provide specialised content and services related to humanities and conduct research and education.
Relevant work
- The Institute of Humanities develops analytical tools in the humanities field through lectures, colloquiums, conferences, and publications related to humanities. We provide various research opportunities to humanities researchers inside and outside the university. We mainly conduct research, seminars, surveys, analysis, lectures, and publish research papers.
- The Institute of Humanities publishes the「Thesis on Humanities」 twice a year in the first half and second half of the year (As of December 2020, the 19th Vol. 1 was published).
- The Institute of Humanities conducts research related to various fields of humanities, including traditional areas, such as literature (Korean literature, English literature, Chinese classic literature, German literature, French literature, Chinese literature), history (Korean history, Eastern history, Western history), and philosophy (Korean Philosophy, Eastern Philosophy, Western Philosophy) as well as Linguistics, Folklore, and Religious Studies.
