Institute of English Education

Introduction

The Institute of English Education strives to organise and efficiently operate the curriculum of English education in universities to improve students' English ability as a foreign language.
In addition, we intend to contribute to English education in Korea by researching the academic development of English education and training of middle and high school English teachers.

Relevant work

First, we actively participate in projects in accordance with the government's policy to strengthen public English education (research related to the project supervised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and each local education office. Project implementation, project evaluation, advisory activities, field visits, etc).
Second, we conduct various research to improve the English education curriculum for undergraduate/graduate students of Kongju National University.
Third, we cooperate to improve the English education courses of divisions/departments and affiliated institutions of Kongju National University.
Fourth, we carry out projects with public and private educational institutions, such as improving English textbooks, training for English teachers, and native English speaking teachers.
Fifth, we promote the academic development and the reputation of Kongju National University by hosting domestic and international academic conferences related to English education.
