On October 1st, 1968, it was established as the Science Education Research Center to lead the modernisation of science and technology in Korea and conduct basic research on science education for the College of Education. In 1970, it was reorganised as the Institute of Science Education. Through the continuous publication of theses, a total of 50 science education journals (ISSN 2233-6907) have been published so far. Currently, we are conducting OPEN Science, Chungnam Science Festival, academic presentations, and R&D.
