We are very pleased about your visiting Kongju National University(KNU) in new administrative capital in Korea.
The predecessor of KNU commenced as Provincial Teacher's College in 1948, and then it has grown remarkably and quickly since elevating to University in 1991.
It now consists of three specialized campuses, six colleges and seven graduate schools.
We are doing our best to be a qualitatively distinguished university to lead the 21C's society based on knowledge.
The bright culture of the ancient Paekche Kingdom, location in neighboring Daedeok Science Town and Coastal Industrial Complex next to the Western Sea, and formal confirmation that the administrative capital will be moved in strongly declare that it is time for us to set out a new with the opportunity to become a major university in Korea.
We will make a great contribution towards the growth of a nation and prosperity of all mankind producing competitive students with excellent faculty members and good educational conditions.
For that, we are daringly going to emerge from the bed of roses as national university, and put our best efforts on self-improvement and reform since we well know that we might fall behind unless we persue such labor, reform, improvement taking the initiative in age.
